Tuki® Learning Tower Nature

Tuki® Learning Tower Nature

Closed sides. No slipping through at the back.

While most learning towers are open at the sides, the Tuki has closed side panels. With the starter cloth, the front and back are closed too. That means it can be used from 9 months instead of 18.

Cooking has become a two-person job in your home.

One with the child, one at the stove. And when you are on your own, you chop one-handed because eleven kilos are sitting on your arm.

“I can’t split myself in two.”

Distractions last three minutes. Pots, food boxes, wooden spoons. A toddler who wants to be involved can’t be organised away. They want to be part of it, at eye level.

Mother and child at eye level: toddler standing in the Tuki Learning Tower at the kitchen counter, baking along
At eye level: joining in instead of being carried.
Tuki Learning Tower with starter cloth in a bright kitchen

Chair, step stool, DIY: they all have the same open side.

The kitchen chair has no backrest towards the worktop. A child who leans forward tips over with it.

The step stool gets in the way and offers no protection on any side.

The DIY tower made from two stools also costs around CHF 50, needs an anti-tip kit added later and becomes too tight after two years.

The cheap learning tower has a bar that a child can slip under.

So with all four, you have to stay within arm's reach. That doesn't solve the problem, it just moves it.

Tuki Starter Cloth detail view – high-quality fabric

Closed when your child is inside. Open in a second.

The starter cloth closes the front and back openings of the learning tower. To climb in and out, you open it in one move and close it again. It takes no longer than buckling a seatbelt.

Fixed, fully enclosed towers solve this differently: you have to lift your child in every time. Open towers don't solve it at all.

From parenting forums, not from us

Parents build this closure themselves.

“At the beginning, I always stretched a net across the back of the tower so she couldn’t fall out.”
“At first we wedged a board in at the back so she couldn’t fall through anywhere.”
“Put a belt or some other safeguard around the big opening.”

Three parents, three forums, the same reflex. We engineered it instead of improvising, and had it tested.

“Looking back, I should have bought it at 10 to 11 months.”

Rounded edges

Fully rounded, not just chamfered. Even a small child won't hurt themselves on them.

Closed sides

The side panels are closed, interrupted only by a handle slot. With the starter cloth, the front and back are closed too.

Six height positions

The standing board and the step each adjust to three levels. That way the learning tower grows with your child, from 9 months to 8 years.

Real wood, water-resistant finish

Beech or birch veneers. The learning tower stands at the sink, so the surface has a saliva- and water-resistant lacquer and doesn't swell.

Fallsafe anti-tip protection

Tested forwards and sideways, load capacity up to 100 kg, tested up to 250 kg. Tested to DIN EN 14988 and DIN EN 17191, confirmed by TÜV SÜD.

Material and durability

Built to last seven years

Multi-layer beech or birch veneers instead of cheap solid wood. Every edge fully rounded, not just chamfered. Hidden screws, floor glides against scratches, spare parts for as long as the learning tower exists. That's why the Tuki® is often still in the kitchen for the second child.

The price

$409 sounds like a lot.

$409 one-off
7 years 9 months to school age
$59 per year

The learning tower accompanies your child from 9 months to school age. With a second child, the cost per child is cut in half.

And in the end, it is not gone: used learning towers sell on the second-hand market in under an hour.

Compared with common learning towers on the market, as of 2026. Details of other models vary by manufacturer.

What parents ask before buying

Our kitchen is too small.

The learning tower is 50 cm wide and 43 cm deep, taking up as much space as a kitchen chair. 90 cm tall, 10 kg, easy to move with one hand. And it doesn't just stay in the kitchen: many families use it at the bathroom sink later on.

In the end, it'll just stand around.

Try it for 100 days. If you don't use it every day, we'll take it back, no questions asked.

A cheaper one will do.

Comparable towers hold 40 kg instead of 100. With many, the wood swells at the sink, and folding mechanisms come with metal edges. The price difference is real. So is the difference in quality.

My child is still too small for it.

That's exactly what the starter cloth is for. It closes the front and back so your child can stand safely from 9 months, and you don't have to wait until they can stand on their own.

I'd like to give it as a gift.

Many of our learning towers go to grandchildren, godchildren and nephews. We deliver directly to the address of your choice. If you're unsure about the colour, the family can choose for themselves with a gift voucher. The 100 days start from delivery, not from the birthday.

Can I assemble the learning tower myself?

Ten screws. Most customers say they assembled their Tuki® in under 30 minutes. To the instructions

From Zurich to the whole world

Designed by Stefan Westmeyer

The distinctive, timeless shape of the Tuki® Learning Tower was developed in close collaboration with Swiss furniture designer Stefan Westmeyer and has won several awards, including the Red Dot Design Award.

Developed by two young Swiss entrepreneurs

Dominic's little sister Aline gave the two of them the idea of developing a learning tower for her. The curious little one always wanted to see everything and be part of everything. And the bigger she got, the more weight there was to lift.
