Why front-facing?
See books. Spark interest. Foster independence.
Maria Montessori recognised it early: The prepared environment determines what a child perceives – and what they respond to.
When a child only sees book spines, they walk past. When they see the cover, they reach for it. That's exactly why the Tuki® Bookshelf is built the way it is – inviting, visible, and at the right height.

Frequently asked questions
From what age is the bookshelf suitable?
As soon as your child can sit up independently or crawl (approx. 9 months). The bookshelf is built sturdy enough that children can pull themselves up on it. There's no upper age limit – school-age children also love the front-facing presentation.
How many books fit?
Three rows with several books each – the exact number depends on book size. The visualisation shows 9 books; depending on format, significantly more can fit.
Does the bookshelf need to be wall-mounted?
No, it's designed to be freestanding and stable. We still recommend wall-mounting for particularly active climbers – as with any children's furniture.
Are books included in delivery?
No. The bookshelf ships without books. The books in the product images are for illustration only.
What about delivery time?
Aktuell handelt es sich um eine Vorbestellung. Lieferzeit: 2-4 Wochen. If we can't meet the delivery date, you'll automatically receive a full refund.
